Left side:
1 vertical space (going from front-to-back), width = 4". This dimension can be made any number you'd like, by specifying in the "personalization" section when ordering. A knife block accessory can be added in this section for an extra $50.
Front: 2 equal width spaces at the front, 3" deep The width's are minus the spaces on the left + right + thickness of the maple sides, and is determined by your drawer width dimension,. The depth dimension can be different than 3", and can be specified in the "personalization" field when ordering.
Rear: 6 equal width vertical spaces..
Right side:
1 vertical space (going from front-to-back), width = 4". This dimension can be made any number you'd like, by specifying in the "personalization" section when ordering. A knife block accessory can be added in this section for an extra $50.
Height:
The height is fixed at just under 3" high (2.905"), which will be optimal for most drawers.
Width maximum is 35" wide, with a bottom. Wider than 35" is available without a bottom, and made shorter at 2.2" high.

How it's made:
DrawerSpace custom inserts are made with 1/2" thick solid maple sides, and 1/4" thick solid maple center dividers. The bottom starts with Formica laminate, that has a matching natural maple pattern. This is for durability and scratch resistance. The same laminate is on the top and bottom surfaces, and covers 3/8" thick board for stability. The entire bottom is fully captured and glued into a dado in the sides.
All joinery is mortise and tenon.
See below for a diagram of the 5-degree taper around the sides, which is done to clear any screws that may protrude into the drawer interior from your decorative hardware. if we had straight sides, you would need extra wiggle room (and wasted space) to allow for screw heads.
